RUGBY LEAGUE TOUCHES MILITARY ACADEMY

In what has been described as a steady progress; the Rugby League Federation Ghana has extended its boundaries to the Training School of the Ghana Military Academy.

This engagement involved Physical Training Instructors of the Military and the task was to equip them with a holistic approach to the game.

The Physical Training Instructors who are undergoing Physical Training Courses at the Teshie Military Training School presented the opportunity to the RLFG to introduce the sport to them. The aim of increasing the numbers in Rugby League in Ghana found this exercise a worthy cause. In the teaching and practice sessions, the Instructors were taught to play and teach the basics of the game, broadening their understanding to the basic concepts of the game.

The practice session included competing in mini rugby league touch games amongst the instructors to further on leverage their knowledge in a Rugby league game model.
